Civil Magistrate and the Gospel

By Gman4326

There were once was an evangelist who was arrested. For preaching the Gospel without a permit.
What is on the docket today asks the magistrate of his secretary? Local officials arrested an evangelist. As they are unable try him on these charges. They handed him over to me instead the magistrate interrupting the secretary answer. Cough as if clearing his throat. The evangelist was preaching the gospel answering the magistrate question in a flippant tone of voice. Local officials want to put him death don't they, say the Civil Magistrate while shaking his back and forth, ever so slightly. Yes my Magistrate, say the secretary. GUARDS, bring the accused in, shouts the magistrate.
Both the guards and the evangelist walk in confidence towards the magistrate seat. Why so confident in both the step and mannerism, asks the secretary? Evangelist gives no response to the secretaries question. I see, the secretary brings up a good question. My lord, you have the right to have me either flogged or put to death. Since i'm before you. I want you to hear my testimony. So you too will repent and believe, answers the evangelist in a caring tone of voice. What is the Truth, asks the Magistrate? I passed down to you what I was told. Jesus of nazareth was arrested, tried and convicted for the crime of being the King of the Jews before Caphias and Pilate. As it was the Custom of the Jews during the passover to free a person accused of a capital crime. This year CHRIST and Barabbas were on the platform. The audience chose Barabbas over Jesus. Flogged and a crown of thorns placed over His head by the roman guards. Ordered to carry a cross section of cedar over the shoulder. Jesus walked as far as He could. A man named Joseph carried the cross to skull hill. Where He was crucified. On Sunday morning Peter went to the Good Shepherd burial site. Where the stone was rolled away. Looking inside and the clothes folded neatly on the stone surface. After telling the disciples who did not betray the Master what had occurred. Suddenly someone was knocking on the door. Weeping for joy the Master they knew was in front of them. Before the forty days were up some 500 eyewitness saw Him alive as well. On that day in Galilee the Lord ascended to heaven. That ends my testimony, answers the Evangelist. Good to know. Please wait over there. What should i do with him asks the magistrate of the secretary in soft but firm tone? In order to keep peace with the natives he must be flogged, answers the secretary in an equally soft tone. The magistrate waves the guards and evangelist over. In order to keep peace with the locals. I must have you flogged. The sentence is that you must receive 10 lashes on the back and have water poured over your back afterwards. Guards take him to be flogged, magistrate say to them.
Epilouge: After the evangelist was flogged. He left the country to preach elsewhere. There was a rebellion in the area by the local officials. Against the magistrate for not putting the evangelist to death. After the king hearing about this plot against him. Quelled the rebellion and put all to death. The magistrate was later exiled for not doing his job correctly. The End!

Birthplace of Humanity

Fertile Crescent birthplace of Humanity
By Gman4326
As it is written in Sacred Scriptures. After God created the heavens and the earth. He made Humanity in his own image. Establishing the family unit. Which is one Husband and one Wife. Who are then able to have children. The place GOD chose to build the garden was in the area around tigris and euphrates rivers. After the fall humanity became farmers or raised domesticated animals. Building of towns east of eden came later. After the flood the sons of noah continued to live in the fertile crescent. Only after the tower babel incident did humanity began to spread out from there.
In conclusion humanity did not come from africa or england but from the fertile crescent

God use of symbolism and parables

By Gman4326

There is something I’ve wanted to write for a few years now. The use of symbolism and parable found in both the old and new Testament. When I was growing up and going to the different denominations therein. These were moral stories told by the second person of the Trinity manifested in human flesh. Did not mention or say who the original audience was. If they even understood what he saying at all. I was taught both in public and on the church side; what to think, and not how to think. The people in his day no longer wanted to hear the truth Isaiah 6:10 “Render the hearts of this people insensitive, Their ears dull, And their eyes dim, Otherwise they might see with their eyes, Hear with their ears, Understand with their hearts, And return and be healed.” (biblehub)   The Lord himself was speaking as a prophet to the people He had chosen before anyone of us were born. God had chosen this method as means of punishment before the new covenant was formed in Christ blood and resurrection as the prophet Jeremiah had said centuries earlier. When a society no longer wishes to hear the truth storytelling is the only option left open to them. The only choice then is to repent or be destroyed from within. I know this not an easy thing to say. But it has to be done and that is all.
