Anthropocentric liberal free will

By Gman4326

"Satan want’s anthropomorphic man or the race of man to believe each individual is morally good". Found in 'this is my personal view'. Liberalism need limits put on it. To prevent God judgment and the enviable tyranny that come from the hard heart place upon us. Liberalism comes from God opening doors to other point of view. Our knowledge is as fallen as our will. As an example i wrote a Creation Primer. I assume not everyone agree with my point of view. Yet many climate supporters, whom i would call fools. Feel same way about me as well. These point of view or other will always vie for someone attention. If liberalism want to stay vibrant we must be willing to take steps to denounce Progressivism as a cult and those supporting it as Satanic.

Notes from Christian Art by R.C Sproul0001

By Gman4326

For example Rembrandt and Beethoven and other Composers and painters of this era were dedicated Christians. It seems today that in the Christian community sense that the arts are both beneath them, too secular, and to dark for them to get involved in. There are three main concerns that are found in the Christian community what is good, true and the beautiful.
Good:
The science of ethics
True:
The science of philosophy or epistemology
Beautiful:
Deals in the science of aesthetics
The science of what is beautiful comes to us directly or indirectly from the pages of the bible. The beginning of art and its ultimate foundation comes from creation itself.  The heavens declare the glory of God and the earth therein Psalm 19:1. Going from biblical art too history. By divine edict the people were to contribute items in the making of the tabernacle. The metals donated would be melted down in order to make the Goblets, candlesticks, the arc outer foundation and other items being used by Levite priests. Oholiab was given a charismatic gift by God help in the construction of the tabernacle. The Church can at times with art inside can be considered a place of where human arrogance lies especially during the time of war. Such as during WW2 when Vatican was untouched by both Axis and Allies alike. Yet the children were starving and it seemed the artwork could have sold in order to the feed them. Today the endeavor in Christian arts is typified by the contents found in your local Christian bookstore. For your coffee table a set praying hand made out of some sort of pressed muck. Christian posters to adorn ones wall with suitable graffiti as to sanctify them to justify the expense. Perhaps a plastic cube with a mustard seed entombed within to boost your understanding of faith….
There is a level of acceptance in the Christian community that art is superficial and is reproduced for individual consumption. In one word boring, the beautiful should never be boring. He went to see a minister one time and hanging on of the office walls was a reprint of a painting by Rembrandt entitled in English “Jeremiah lamenting over Jerusalem”. In order to capture a moment of a subject life Rembrandt would read a book written by said person and then he would paint it.

Notes from Jesus in Art000001

By Gman4326

This not from his entire lecture:

According to Mr. Harries in his lecture on Jesus in Art; early depictions of our savior found in the roman catacombs was that of a wonder worker. (At the 0:41 second mark) Magic played a major role in society until the 1600’s, at the one minute and three second mark. So the early Christian church wanted to supplant what the magicians were doing by emphasizing Christ miracles over magic itself. Jesus was also depicted as a teacher in the catacombs as well. (02:12 min mark) In the fourth century [301-401AD] period, when people would build sarcophagi for their friend’s one of these images was Christ without a beard being brought before Pilate. (02:40min. mark) Arian churches depicted Jesus without a beard in the fourth century and the more orthodox worship halls depicted Christ with a beard on. However when the orthodox leaders took over those places they left those images alone. (010:20-31 min. mark) Possible discrepancy in why Christ was sometimes with or without a beard could be a trend found in the fourth century starting with Constantine who had no beard while ruling. However since Jewish rabbi’s did have beards at the time. What was certain him with or without beard was not left in the hands of the artist. (011:00 to 012:00 minute mark) By the 500’s Christ was depicted with a beard became the only trademark that is consistent to this day. Eusebius wrote in his book on church history a letter sent by king Agmar sent to Christ. Later a painting was done depicting this king holding a towel with Jesus face on it as if he was healing Agmar himself. Until 1914 orthodox soldiers carried a similar image of his face and what it appears to be a towel in background of the center where Christ face is to be found. (014:06min. mark); Here in the west a woman named veronica who was supposed to wipe Christ face while he was carrying cross with some sort of cloth. There is an image her in background holding onto a large piece of cloth with Jesus face on it. (014:29min. mark) First copies are found in the 14th century.
Different styles in which Christ was depicted in:
As an Irishman date 8th century
As a Catalonian king found in Barcelona date 12th century
In a medieval woodcarving found in Germany
During the cathedral building period some doors found him as judge or in his magisterium role. (016:00min. to 017:55min. mark)
Mr. Harries shows three different slides on Christ passion
⦁ Man of sorrows 020:02 minute marked late medieval period around the 1520AD
⦁ Seeing salvation this scene is not found in the bible, date 1500AD 021:30 minute mark; based on medieval piety from northern Europe.
⦁ The soul contemplating the suffering of Christ 022:20 minute marked artist Velasquez 1620’s
Judgment and purgatory was highly emphasized during the medieval period. Twenty three minute marked
Renaissance artist emphasized Christ Jesus humanity during the 13th and 14th century AD (023:22 minute mark). Once in Sienna Italy now in New York depicts Christ being tempted. (024:17min. mark) Found in Sienna a picture of Christ washing the feet of his disciples, another art panel showing Christ in front of Pilate. In the Scraviggno chapel is an artwork done by a humanist artist in which Judas is betraying Christ Jesus with a kiss (025:31min. mark)
During the high renaissance period there was a great emphasis on powerful perspective, the beauty of the body, emotion and drama. (026:18 min. mark) Dead body of Jesus done by an artist named Mantegna. (026:32min. mark) Sculpture work called Peita, by Michelangelo from the late 15th to early 16th century AD. (027:11min. mark) Sculpture work called Nicodemius by the same artist who depicts himself holding on to Christ. (027:41min. mark); During the height of the counter-reformation (17th century) there was a greater emphasis of drama and the use of the light and dark colors. An artist called El Greco was painting during this time period (028:57min. mark); One such artwork was called cleansing out the temple. (029:20min. mark) Rembrandt who began using baroque style painting towards the end used a more personal style form artwork. A pencil drawing called the 100 guilders was based on Matthew 19.

God is the source of creative knowledge

By Gman4326

The Apostle Paul, while writing to the Members, Elders and
Deacons, of the local Church in Philippi. In the original
tongue. Did something very special. (1)He took a fragment
of a well known hymn at that time.
Probably from Jerusalem and added it to the letter.
It is Who, existing in the form of God, did not
consider equality with God something to cling to,
but emptied Himself, taking the form a servant,
being made in human likeness. And being found in
appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient
to death ---- even death on a cross. Therefore God
exalted Him to the highest place, and gave Him the name
above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

When women treat the opposite sex badly

By Gman4326

Good looks who has since graduated from College. On a busy
Friday spending time with friends. Sparkling of the neon
as beams of light. Inaudible conversation going on.
The air is thick of different senses.
This variety includes cheap to expensive
perfume and colognes. Either to mask people smoking tobacco,
sweating heavily, or even wearing dirty clothes. The sidewalk
in which they are on is hot because of the multitude on it.
She runs into her little sister locking hands. With a man,
based on mere appearances wearing a letter jacket from a
different school. From the one her sister is currently
attending.
Gulp!!
What is wrong, the young man asks? My sister is waving at
me, answers little sis. How is this bad, asking a follow
up question?
Dunno!!
She being defensive all of a sudden, saying it thoughtfully.
Before i left the apartment someone knocked on the door,
speaking in a nonchalant manner. How dare she make me
lie for her, thinking it while speaking to her imotou.
Dropping all pretense.
Hmph!!
What is that too you, Onisan. Because girls like you
make us look bad. We are on a date here, could shelve
this topic until later.
Stay out of this!! Both of them say in tandem.
What!!
Young man, please read in to the situation, mention
good look to the boy.
Quite frankly, she is on a date with me. And, if
she want to date other boys is fine with me.
You should be ashamed with yourself, have more pride as
a man.
Ignore him, you started talking with me, the little sis
interrupts the their heated conversation.
Their are other fish in sea Onisan. Yes, their are but
mistreating the other boy will lead to men who will abuse you.
We are the weaker of the sex and when you need a night in
shinning armor. He will be married; and you will either be
stuck in a loveless marriage or dead, good look wrapping up
her speech.
Pit Pat!!
I don't believe you big sis.
The End!!

By Gman4326

Chapter 5 William Tyndale Translation 1534
With the development of the moveable printer stamp and ink that doesn't freeze. The conquest of both Greece and what was left of the Eastern Roman Empire, ransacking of Constantinople, Erasmus New Testament Dictionary and Bible. Koine Greek which was lost to History. Had entered the Latin West. Tyndale was born into a Catholic family. During this period many who would wanted to become theologians learned how to speak in both Koine Greek and Medieval Latin. Like Wycliffe before him. William Tyndale wanted fellow Englishmen to read a translation of God Word for themselves. But to do that he had to leave England for the mainland. He did translate the Old Testament from the Latin. But in 1526, he lost it in one of the voyages, too rough seas. While he was re-translating the New Testament some of the Martin Luther. Associates got in contact with him. They had secretly learned how to speak Hebrew. As it was forbidden for anyone outside Jewish system of thought to learn it. This is how Tyndale learned how to read and write in Hebrew. However English agents supported by the Catholic Church were on the hunt for his life for it was assumed he was a Lutheran.  As Henry VII for different reason began the process to create a new state church. William Tyndale was arrested in Vilvoorde, Belgium and convicted for breaking the law by creating a new translation of the Sacred Scriptures into English. He was strangled and then burned at the stake on March 6, 1536 for breaking the law.

Chapter 6 Geneva Bible 1560
Bloody Queen Mary Tudor who ascended to the throne after her little brother had died in 1553 was on the throne when some 300 Presbyterians fled to Geneva Switzerland. Around 100 Puritan leaders were burned at the stake for either translating into English the Sacred Scriptures or preaching in the Calvinistic system of thought. Calvin brother in law William Whittingham assisted by Miles Coverdale with four others as well. Developed a Bible that was not beholden to either a state or church authority.  Whittingham had revised Tyndale's New Testament in 1557 which included annotations and commentaries. First Bible was published in 1560 and final one in 1644. The future episcopal archbishop and the bigot supported by King James I, Bishop Laude. Both of them hated the Geneva Bible because of the annotations written by John Calvin. It was set apart from earlier English translation by a common form used today as chapter and verse. William Tyndale an earlier and ongoing well known system called the Lectionary. This Sunday A,B,C yearly cycle is read out of the self titled book. And, it borrows from the Sacred Scriptures.

Our True Teacher

By Gman4326
Our True Teacher gave us our brain to think, rentina to send
and recieve images. Tongue, lips that move, vocal cords
to speak. The imaginative skills to put on cotton, animal
skin, wet mud block or dry wood pulp. With the tools
appropriate for the task. Begin the building blocks to create
the verbal and written language. Without Him man is not able
to do this. Even if man has the history to back that up.
