As we are creatures in the similitude of God. Humanity can't escape the desire to worship. Pew research seems to focus on education and asking young people about organized religion. It is being assumed that the term religion means moral teachings taught to kids by either a professional or private tutor during Sunday school. 
Educating kids that homosexuality is okay is a religious teaching. It is impossible to escape religion. God and the Father sacrificed a sheep in order to cloth Adam and Eve. Jesus Christ (second person of the trinity) dying on a cross around March-April 27AD ended the practice of animal sacrifices. Should we shore up timetables and actually believe in the Genesis account. Of course we should. Since the factcheck article does not include practicing of Faith in Society. I'll end it here.
