Myth to Fact

By Gman4326

Dear Theophilius, i wish to help the brethren to understand how. This is my son whom I AM well pleased with. King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The Holy spirit who perched as a dove upon the Good Shepherd shoulder. Historical ascetism, was not the goal of the Apostle in his letter to the Romans. He lived in a world where pagans ruled and a Jewish church who denied the Savior. Leaders both in Rome and Alexandria were sanctified as sons of thing's made out of stone, wood or metals. Yet these leaders were chosen by God to rule in their era's. They were shadowy type figures, to the one who has been wearing the royal diadem for nearly 2000 years. I'm speculating here. But i think, he wanted to let fellow believers. Whether they were Jew or Gentile know their condition. Faith cannot be earned. Forgiveness and true peace can only come from God. What the magistrate role is. And, finally to love fellow brethren.

The Greco-Roman wrote about Noah's flood. The writers Ovid (first century AD)  and Apollonius of Alexandria (second century BC).

Wrote on how their major government idols. Zeus and Jupiter were displeased with the habitants.

In this case of Zeus, Prometheus son married a woman fashioned by the false idols. After having it rain for days. Until all of Greece was under water. Only a handful of people including Epimetheus and Pandora survived.

By committee agreement, Jove sent down heavy amounts of rain on mankind and the giants. He ended it by only Deucalion and Pyrrha surviving.

Outside Noah's flood, the character's themselves are weather gods. When did God create the weather? God created the weather on the second day. The light on the first day; and the rest of the universe on the third day.

Because secularist using cultural Marxist language dominates our society. Christians will default to pagan idols are evil and therefore are a no go zone. Fellow believer's could also assume there is no distinction between the name and the biography itself. Worse yet using God's name in vain leads to Satanism.

I'm not even purposing worship of a worthless piece of nothing. I'm saying that it is okay to Christianize the name and the bio. Apostle John took a pagan term like Logos (word) and apply it to the Lord Jesus Christ. To take from the unbelieving world and turn it into something beautiful is what Christianizing means. El in Canaanite means god. We stole it and turned into another name for GOD. Stealing in this form is wholesome and good.
