Creation Primer
By Russell Le Masters
We are created beings and our Creator made the earth and the millions of planets in the universe. Were made out of nothing. No created god can do anything out of nothing. The word comes out of the Latin Creator–oris. Which mean either maker or founder. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit of God moved upon the waters. And God said: Let there be light and there was light. And God saw the light was good, and God divided the light from darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness Night, and there was evening and morning one day. And God said: Let there be space between the waters to separate water from water. And God made the dry ground, and divided the waters which were under the dry ground from the waters which were above the heavens: and it was so. And God called the skies heaven and the evening and the morning were the second day. God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good And the evening and the morning were the third day. And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, To shine in the sky to give light upon the earth, and it was so And God made two great lights, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night and the stars and put them in the sky to shine upon the earth, to govern the day and night, and to divide the light from the darkness and saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. God said, Let the waters teem with life, and the earth under the sky. God blessed them by saying: Increase and multiply, and fill the waters of the sea birds increase on the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. And God bring forth the living creature in its kind, cattle and reptiles and wild animals of all kinds, it was so. And God created man in his own image he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:1-27)
